In July 22, 2017, the Eighth Federation of Industry and Commerce was held in the provincial people's congress hall. 500 representatives from the non-public sector of the whole province participated in the conference. Zhang Yunsheng, a member of the standing committee in Hainan Province and the Minister of the United Front Department of the provincial Party committee, represented the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China at the opening ceremony and made a speech. Vice Governor Li Guoliang also attended the conference and delivered a speech. The National Federation of Industry and Commerce sent a congratulatory message to the general assembly. Besides, other leading comrades of the provincial people's Congress, the provincial government, the provincial CPPCC, democratic parties, people's organizations and other relevant departments attended the general assembly for congratulation.

In the conference, the work report of the Seventh Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was listened to and considered. And leading group of Hainan Federation of industry and commerce was elected. Also the Eighth Congress of Hainan Provincial Federation of industry and commerce was adopted.

The eighth Executive Committee of the Hainan Provincial Federation of industry and commerce, composed of 285 members, was set up by the general assembly by secret ballot.

The new leading group was built in the first session of the Eighth Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce). Jing Zhu was elected as the Chairman (President) of the Eighth Executive Committee of Hainan Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce); Guo Quanmao was elected the vice Chairman (Vice president); Wang Sheng and Xu Feng were elected as the full-time vice Chairmmn (vice President); Huang Lang was elected as secretary general; Liu Wenjun and other 19 were elected as vice chairmen; Ye Mao and other 20 were elected vice President.
