Hainan box office achieved good results in this year! Today, reporter learns from Hainan insider that up to August 6, box office of Hainan province has reached 216.6 million yuan, it exceeded last year’s 4 months ahead, box office growth beyond the whole nation.
According to report, up to September 2, China Box Office has reached 29.7 billion yuan, it exceeded 2014’s 29.639 billion yuan successfully. Insiders analyzed the reason of speed increase is two parts, one is the number of new screen constant rise, the other is more and more films draw well, especially domestic films.
In early July, the number of city cinemas in China has reached 5730, amount of screen is more than 28 thousands, and both of them have grown obviously than the end of last year.
In the first quarter of this year, especially in the spring festival season, there was a batch of films’ box office reached one billion yuan, such as “THE MAN FROM MACAU”, in the second quarter, Hollywood films draw well, such as “FAST FURIOUS 7”, “AVENGERS 2” and “JURASSIC WORLD”, in summer vacation season, box office of domestic films raised, such as “MONSTER HUNT”, “JIAN BING MAN” and “MONKEY KING: HERO IS BACK”, so box office of the whole nation beyond last year one quarter ahead.
From January to August, box office of Hainan province has reached 238.5 million yuan. Haikou ZOSE International Cinema has became box office champion, box office is 37.89 million yuan, box office of Haikou China film south movie city is 36.13 million yuan, become the first runner- up, Sanya ZOSE International Cinema is the second runner- up.
