The first Committee Meeting of the 2011 Hainan International Road Cycling Race was held at Haikou. The member of standing committee of Hainan, Director of Propaganda Department and Vice Governor of Hainan Province, Tan Li attended the meeting and made a speech. The Director of Department of Culture Radio Television Publication and Sports of Hainan Province, Fan Xiaojun reported the preparatory conditions of the event and arrangement.

This competition consists of the circuit race of one city and eight stages and the length of the race is 1466 kilometers which covers 18 cities and counties of Hainan Province.

The Chairman of Hainan ZOSE Group, Liu Wenjun attended the meeting and made a speech as the sponsor of the competition.
